JOB TITLE: Videographer
REPORTS TO: Program Manager - Satellite
FLSA STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt, Salaried
Job Summary:
You will be responsible for filming events, installations, and programs for web, earned media, and social coverage.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None at this time
Essential Functions:
Videographer for small to medium sized videos with the ability to handle both run-and-gun live event coverage as well as manage and produce well-lit, multi-cam sets
A knack for experimentation and eye-catching visuals made for trend-setting audiences
Fast and efficient guidance on color correction and finishing work to ensure best possible video assets and consistency of visual identity
Independently manage team’s equipment, studio space, and digital assets to ensure team readiness
Complete assignments in a timely manner with a constant awareness of review cycles and deadlines
Work closely with directors in a collaborative and efficient manner to consistently deliver high quality work to clients
Willingness to travel (often with equipment) independently to various locations for shoots
Analyze timelines, set accurate estimates for delivery expectations and effectively inform applicable stakeholders via status updates; and
Independently manage priorities and workload to meet all schedules and deadlines.
Other Duties/Responsibilities:
Take the initiative to stay current regarding trends (both creative and tech) to help ensure the company remains competitive.
While videography is the primary function, all other creative skills are seen as relevant. Still photography, video editing, and motion graphics in particular are a bonus.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proven videography skills in both run-and-gun and well-lit set scenarios (REEL REQUIRED)
Technical skills and knowledge to film on iPhone, Sony A5, and Canon C300s.
Strong project management, communication skills, attention to detail, and professionalism;
Microsoft Office-proficient;
Able to self-manage and determine timelines and deliverables;
Ability to multi-task and communicate well; and
Ability to take client feedback gracefully and incorporate it into revisions.
Education and Experience:
2+ years as a videographer in a corporate, social, or other professional environment. A strong, eye-catching reel is more important than previous experience, however.
Professional experience with Adobe CC.
Strong knowledge of social and social trends is a HUGE plus.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to safely travel with equipment for long distances.
Must be able to set up and break down set, sometimes independently.
Work Environment:
This role routinely requires using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and printers.
This position may require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to operate various electronic devices.
Must be able and willing to travel regularly, sometimes on short notice.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time Hybrid role, defined as a combination of remote and in-office / On-site work within the Greater Seattle Area (King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties). You are expected to work in-office at our client studio in Redmond 2+ days a week, sometimes more frequently depending on project necessity. This role will be expected to work remotely when there is no onsite work. The office generally operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the days and hours of this position may vary week-to-week. Mighty Media’s workplace policies are subject to change at any time based on business necessity and manager discretion.

The pay for this role is $78,000 - $84,000 annually. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience, along with the position’s requirements, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
