JOB TITLE: Producer 2
REPORTS TO: Senior Producer
FLSA STATUS: Full-Time, Exempt

Job Summary:

You will be responsible for editing the Official Xbox Podcast and sizzle trailers, along with creating graphics and other visual This producer role is responsible for leading the production of live multi-camera studio projects, town halls, webinars, and non-scripted content such as case studies and client testimonials. This role requires expertise in developing and producing videos that meet client objectives. The producer will manage budgets, schedules, and production teams while fostering creativity and maintaining high production standards. People in this role will be expected to participate in production management-focused and/or content-focused project roles as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Yes - may supervise production crew on a project-to-project basis at the discretion of project lead.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead multi-camera studio productions (live and taped), working closely with team leads and clients to ensure thorough project preparation and seamless execution.

  • Develop and produce high-quality case studies, mini-documentaries, and creative segments.

  • Develop, manage, and track production budgets and schedules, ensuring alignment with project scope and client expectations.

  • Act as a liaison between production teams, vendors, stakeholders and clients, maintaining business relationships between projects. Supervise and delegate tasks to associate producers, segment producers, and other team members.

  • Guide post-production processes, including story development, paper edits, and workflow management.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.

 Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Possess a deep understanding of production control room operations, including pre-production planning, processes, and etiquette

  • Strong planning and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proven experience in budgeting and scheduling.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.

  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a positive, can-do attitude.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools and project management tools such as Asana or similar. 

 Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Film, Production, or related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in live production and creative storytelling, including case studies and multi-camera projects.

  • Demonstrated people management skills preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Work Environment:

  • This role routinely requires using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and printers.  

  • This position may require the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  

  • Must be able to operate various electronic devices.  

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time Hybrid role, defined as a combination of remote and in-office / On-site work within the Greater Seattle Area (King, Pierce, and Snohomish Counties). You are expected to work in the office at least 3 days a week, depending on project necessity. This role will be expected to work remotely when there is no onsite work. The office generally operates from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., but the days and hours of this position may vary week-to-week. Mighty Media’s workplace policies are subject to change at any time based on business necessity and manager discretion.   

Additional Information:

  • The pay for this role is $75,000 - $88,000 annually. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience, along with the position’s requirements, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
