Lynne Koester

Lynne understands that “cleave” and “ravel” mean the opposite of themselves.

Lynne understands that “cleave” and “ravel” mean the opposite of themselves.

Despite actually being from Illinois, Lynne is often considered a Masshole, after having attended Tufts University outside of Boston.  The PNW is her latest stop on an accidental journey to live in every region and adopt its linguistic idiosyncrasies.

Lynne’s background is in video production for professional sports teams, having primarily worked for the Boston Red Sox (MLB) and the Nashville Predators (NHL).  At different points while working in sports, she has operated a camera in both a Winnie-the-Pooh costume and a wookie costume, but even when dressed normally, she’s usually doing something weird or goofy.

Lynne’s greatest talent is peeling oranges in one piece, and her greatest lament is that that skill is extremely useless.  Her two main goals in life are to have a porch swing and to promote that the singular of the word “media” is “medium.”
